Common errors in Norwegian SAF-T files

Where to start with broken references, unknown mappings, imbalances and period errors.

Broken references

Confirm that exported IDs match the included master tables exactly and that split-file behaviour is intentional.

Unknown mappings

Use the official VAT and account-grouping lists for the selected accounting year; do not invent fallback combinations.

Totals and periods

Recompute aggregates from exported lines and test deviating financial years explicitly.
